SW-636: Elective

To enhance student engagement in leadership, social work 636 exposes students to further knowledge about organizational development and administration. Students apply contemporary leadership theory and practice principles relevant to social service delivery systems, especially macro systems, including government agencies, religious-affiliated or charitable institutions, and health care facilities. This class exposes students to grant writing, program assessment, supervision, management, coalition building, board development, and transformational leadership styles with emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
