Through examination of the literature, this course will explore correctional programs designed to rehabilitate offenders. The study of both institutional treatment models and community-based models will include family intervention, counseling, self-help programs, diversion, house arrest, community service, probation, halfway houses and others. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
