Evaluation

There are a variety of ways in which students receive feedback about their performance in the program. First, they receive a grade. Second, students are provided the results of their practicum evaluations via the Practicum Evaluation Forms, by the site supervisor and the university supervisors twice a year. The supervisor discusses the evaluation with the student, and if problems are noted, the student's advisor investigates the problem by obtaining information from all concerned parties and the student. If the problem cannot be resolved at that level, the problem is either: (1) referred to the DGT by the faculty member or the student; or (2) the student seeks redress by proceeding according to the grievance procedures outlined in the University Catalog. Third, all students are reviewed annually by the faculty, who informs them of their standing in the program.
