0 credit hours

Completion of the Spalding University Principal Preparation Program culminates with a summative evaluation designed in the form of a capstone/thesis. This Capstone Project offers the candidate an opportunity to conduct research and apply content learned throughout the preparation program. The topic of school improvement as well as the approach for the Capstone Project/Thesis is outlined with accompanying rubrics. The candidate and the thesis supervisor will discuss the capstone project before the work begins. An oral defense of the work before a panel composed of faculty and practicing school administrators is required.
