PSY-501: Cognitive and Affective Bases of Behavior

3 credit hours

This course seeks to provide a foundation of knowledge in cognitive and affective theory and research. Topics to be covered include perception, learning, attention, memory, decision making, emotion, affect regulation, information processing, and motivation. The course also seeks to provide a framework for integrating cognitive and affective principles to explain the etiology and maintenance of adaptive and maladaptive human behavior.
