NURS-803: Academic Leadership in Nursing Education

3 credit hours

This course focuses on the roles and responsibilities required of nursing academic leaders. The DNP student who has a desire to explore nursing academic leadership will investigate critical functions, societal shifts, technological trends, and how emerging nursing and healthcare changes are reshaping the foundations of nursing higher education. Students also examine functions and decision making within operations, financial options, credentialing, human, physical, and fiscal resource allocation and management.
