SW-622: Practicum II
3 credit hours
The foundation field practicum is an educationally directed, on-site, generalist experience under the instruction of an agency-based social work instructor and a campus-based faculty member. Students engage in the remaining hours (approximately half/225 hours) required by the MSW Foundation Year curriculum (450). The practicum assists students in integration and application of practice theory to the practicum learning activities. The foundation practicum is taken concurrently with SW 623: Field Seminar II.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Learners are required to attend a Field Seminar each semester they are enrolled for a practicum.
Prerequisite: Admission to MSW Program.
