MSBC-623: Organizational Leadership

3 credit hours
Drawing on theoretical perspectives of various disciplines, this integrated course focuses on traditional and contemporary models of leadership that are relevant to defining and achieving collective goals in a variety of organizational settings. Students will learn about the convergence of effective communication and effective leadership and will be required to think critically about situations that challenge leader effectiveness. Students will also demonstrate how these concepts may be applied to different workplace scenarios.

Prerequisite: Graduate standing in MSBC or permission of instructor.
