SW-310: Oppression and Privilege

This course is designed to prepare students to work with diverse groups in society. Using cultural, historical, and contemporary contexts, students will examine the role, function, maintenance, and effects of privilege and oppression. Additionally, students will develop awareness of their own personal values, beliefs, and behaviors and how their professional practice with diverse groups is impacted. Open to non-social work majors.
