The supervisor guides and mentors the student and serves as a role model for ethical practice. The experience is designed to promote clinical reasoning and reflective practice in a setting that demonstrates client-centered, meaningful, occupation-based interventions. The opportunity to apply the didactic materials provided throughout the curriculum will occur during the fieldwork placement. Setting assignments will be reflective of the diversity of occupational therapy practice settings.
