SW-441: Social Work Intervention II

As the second in a three-course social work practice sequence, this course focuses on developing generalist practice skills in working with diverse families and group systems. It emphasizes intervening and mobilizing resources across systems, implementing empowerment and strengths perspectives, and utilizing the positive value found in human diversity. Students practice processes of engagement, assessment, planning, and intervention as well as group formation and interaction skills.
