SW-451: Social Work Intervention III

3 credit hours

As the final course in a three-course social work practice sequence, this course emphasizes generalist intervention skills used to impact large systems, promote personal and societal well-being and attain economic and social justice. Building on knowledge and skills developed in previous classes, this course focuses on practice with macro-level systems (e.g., organizations, communities, and society) and policy advocacy. Attention is also given to how social workers cope with the challenges of generalist practice focused on social policy, organizations, and community.
