SW-624: Practicum III

The concentration year practicum is an educationally directed on-site experience in integrative social work practice under the instruction of an agency-based social work instructor and a campus-based faculty member. Learners complete approximately half of the hours (225) required for completion of the practicum experience (total of 450 hours) in SW 624, and complete the remaining 225 hours in SW 626. SW 624 is taken concurrently with SW 625: Field Seminar III to assist learners in applying integrative practice theory to the practicum learning activities.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Learners are required to attend a Field Seminar each semester they are enrolled for a practicum.
Prerequisite: Admission to MSW Program.
