EDR-682: Whole Language Literature (Pathways to Literacy)

Explores the philosophy and teaching procedures of a whole language approach to literacy learning. Students interact with leading professors, children's authors and outstanding classroom teachers as they construct their own theoretical framework for whole language. The class features both large and small group instruction, analysis of instructional materials, and children's literature. Students who take this course for credit from Spalding University will be provided with a reading list and will be required to submit a written report.
