Each new student admitted to graduate study should schedule an appointment with the relevant school chair or program director, or with an advisor assigned by the chair or director, to plan a program of study. Students must register for classes online through Self-Service. A student in the Sena Jeter Naslund-Karen Mann Graduate School of Writing is advised on when and how to register through the school's portal page.
