LS-452: Capstone Project

3 credit hours

Provides a culmination of the student's previous disciplinary and interdisciplinary course work toward the degree. This course is offered over two six-week sessions to help students synthesize their social sciences and humanities experiences, to apply their various disciplionary perspectives to a self-desgined, research-based project that crosses interdisciplinary boundaries. Taught on a rotating basis by all members of the Liberal Studies faculty. This course will include at least one writing assignment that requires peer review and a minimum of two drafts.

Prerequisite: Completion of at least 27 hours in the major, including grade of C or higher in LS-101 and LS-201.
