Time Limit

Master's degree students must complete all requirements for the degree, including all comprehensive and/or qualifying examinations and internships within 5 calendar years.  Sena Jeter Naslund-Karen Mann Graduate School of Writing students have four years to complete the Master of Arts in Writing (MAW) and eight years to finish the Master of Fine Arts in Writing once begun.

Doctor of Education students must complete all requirements for the degree within 5 calendar years. Doctor of Psychology students must complete all requirements for the degree within 8 calendar years. Requests for extensions of the doctoral time limit are handled at the school or program level. Doctor of Occupational Therapy students must complete all requirements for the degree within 5 calendar years. Requests for extensions of the doctoral time limit are handled at the school or program level.

Doctor of Physical Therapy students must complete all requirements for the degree within 6 calendar years of the date with which they originally entered.

Entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy students must complete all requirements for the degree within 6 calendar years of the date with which they originally entered.

Post-professional Doctor of Physical Therapy students must complete all requirements for the degree within 5 calendar years of the date with which they originally entered.
