ART-272: Darkroom Photography II

3 credit hours

Building upon the skills learned in Darkroom Photography I, this course explores the development of the students’ individual approach and photographic way of seeing the medium on a more advanced level. Students will have the opportunity to be more ambitious and sustain a greater level of production and critical feedback. Through group readings, slideshows, and ongoing project critiques, students will refine their skills as photographers and refine their abilities to verbally articulate issues in their own work, as well as the work of others. Students will explore concise ideas while concentrating on a goal of creating concise bodies of work through the semester course. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
