ART-274: Digital Video II

3 credit hours

Students will work on advanced production techniques both individually and in groups. Site-specific installations, documentary and other experimental uses of video will be explored throughout the course. Assigned readings will engage students in sophisticated contemporary thinking involving cinema and video art today. A final project will include creating a digital short video, either live-action or a combination of live-action and animation, which will involve a group-initiated crew to produce and execute. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
