OT-650: Managing Occupational Therapy Services

3 credit hours
Includes an overview of the application of principles of management and systems in the provision of occupational therapy services to individuals and organizations. Students will discuss various contextual factors on management, supervision/collaboration, financial/reimbursement, and program evaluation, Legislative/regulatory implications on practice are discussed. Students will demonstrate knowledge of national requirements for credentialing, state licensure, reimbursement systems, and the ability to determine need for, plan, develop, organize, market services and evaluate services.
